Our Beginning

The HydroScience Group of Companies began in Sacramento, California with the founding of HydroScience Engineers, Inc. (HSe). HSe specializes in water and wastewater issues, with a particular emphasis on the planning and design of advanced wastewater treatment facilities, developing solutions to reuse treated wastewater, and optimizing the supply of scarce water resources. HSe continues to focus on integrating safe and reliable water supplies with sustainable wastewater disposal strategies in California's drought-prone climate and complex regulatory environment.

Expanding our services: Operations

HSe soon understood that its clients' water-related needs transcended conventional engineering services. The second member of the HydroScience Group, HydroScience Operations, Inc. (HSo), was founded to provide contract operations and operations consulting services for water and wastewater facilities in California, many of which were planned and designed by HSe. Utilizing the synergy that developed from combining skills in engineering and operations, HSe and HSo were soon able to provide comprehensive strategic solutions to meet our clients' full range of water and wastewater needs.

Expanding our reach: Australia and Vietnam

Recognizing that many of the technical and environmental challenges associated with water supply, water reuse, and wastewater disposal are not unique to California, HSe and HSo teamed with established water professionals in Australia to found the third member of the HydroScience Group, HydroScience Consulting, Pty. Ltd. (HSc), in Sydney. HSc is an independent Australian consultancy dedicated to serving the water industry in Australia by providing planning and design services to public and private sector clients.

Hydroscience - Vietnam opened a joint HSe / HSc office in Ho Chi Minh City to provide a local full-service office to best serve the unique and complex water and wastewater quality needs of our clients in Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh City office is staffed with locally experienced engineers that understand the local regulatory and technical environment in Vietnam while being supported by experienced water and wastewater professionals from California and Australia.

The HydroScience Group: Servicing the Pacific Rim

The HydroScience Group of Companies extends our water and wastewater expertise and experience developed in the United States, Australia and Vietnam to clients throughout the Pacific Rim. While the three affiliated companies comprising the HydroScience Group are independent corporations, the sharing of our experience, resources, and expertise enables us to respond to our clients' needs over a broad range of water and wastewater issues in countries throughout the Pacific Rim.
